Never been to a Computer Friendly Course before?
- It may be a long, long time since you went to school.
- Perhaps the thought of a ‘Course’ brings back memories of sitting in rows being talked at, not really understanding what’s going on.
- Did it all go over your head with the material not really appropriate to your level?
Computer Friendly Courses aren’t like that
- The Starting Off Courses are really that – for people at the very beginning of their journey to understand this increasingly complicated digital world. And they are free – although donations are always welcome.
- You may have no interest in computers, tablets or smartphones or sick of being pushed into doing things online.
- Your children, grandchildren or nephews and nieces may have their heads stuck on a screen and talk in a foreign language.
A Computer Friendly course will help with your confidence
- Already own a tablet or smartphone but nervous in case you do something wrong?
- Not able to do things other people can and missing out?
- Know that there’s more your device can do but it seems complicated?
What happens at a Computer Friendly Course?
- You will be welcomed by one of our our experienced tutors and a helper
- You will be one of no more than 6 people and will be provided with a free Workbook – to keep – so you can practice at home
