The purpose of this course is to help you take amazing pictures on your iPhone/iPad.

This course covers photography primarily on the Apple iPhone but is also relevant to the iPad, which is very similar. Since its launch in 2007, the iPhone has come a long way as a camera and photo management/editing tool, with improvements in camera quality, functionality and software with each annual new version.

The course will cover three crucial photography topics, over three sessions!

A workbook is provided containing exercises to give you hands-on experience and general information. This is yours to keep.

  • Lesson 1

In the first week we will help you find your way around all the different iPhone/iPad camera settings, plus a beginner’s guide on how to take a great photo, with extra tips on improving your photography skills.

  • Lesson 2

In the second week we will discuss how to organise your photos… placing them into albums on your iPhone/iPad, or perhaps even printing them. We will also teach you how to share photos with other people, and also how to save photos that people have sent to you.

  • Lesson 3

And in the final week, we look at ways to edit your photos, from cropping, to creating beautiful black and white images. We also discuss how to back up your precious photos, just in case disaster strikes!

Prerequisites

Students should have basic knowledge of iPhone/iPad – ideally have attended our Starting off with Apple iPads course.
