You Will:
· Create adverts, leaflets & social media content
· Promote courses, drop-ins & recycling services
· Boost our online presence & brand awareness
· Use tools like WordPress, Google Analytics & Microsoft Office

  • Volunteer Coordinator
Give Your Skills to a Cause You Care About! (St Albans/Harpenden)
Do you have a strong background in administration or HR and are looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? We need a kind and organised Volunteer Coordinator to help us welcome and support our fantastic volunteers.
This long-term, volunteering role is perfect for someone who loves to connect with people. You will be responsible for:
  • Helping us find and welcome new volunteers.
  • Making sure new team members feel supported and well-trained.
  • Creating a friendly ‘buddy’ system for new volunteers.
  • Organising ongoing training and support for our current volunteers.

How can you help?

Computer Friendly always needs new volunteers, with a range of skills, with a knowledge of computers or without, as there are many ways you could help.

  • Deliver training courses or help students with Publicity and marketing
  • Use social networks such as Facebook and Twitter
  • General office support including database management and assisting with telephone duties, course enquirers and bookings
  • Help our team deliver training and help Visually Impaired people

Skills we are currently looking for

We are currently looking for:

  • Helping and Teaching for iPad courses
  • Helping and Teaching with Android courses
  • Organising our events such as Taster Sessions (little technical knowledge needed)
  • Helping and Teaching with MS Office courses
  • Helping with our Windows and Internet beginner courses
