Help us ensure the continued success of Computer Friendly
Computer Friendly has been providing computer training, education and support to thousands of residents of St Albans and District for over ten years. You can be part of that success story.
Become a Volunteer
We are a small, organisation with lots to do.
Many of our students are retired living in St Albans and Harpenden District, who do not yet have the confidence to use the Internet. That is where we can help most, because we have the patience to go at their pace. It’s very rewarding!
You only need to commit to what you want to do: every little helps!
There is plenty going on – from leading or helping on training courses, managing course bookings, helping at drop-in sessions and designing new training courses. Please click here for more information.
Please Donate
All our funds are spent on delivering courses and supporting Drop-In Centres: we have no paid staff or premises to fund. Your contribution can help us get more people onto the Internet, reduce their isolation, and save them money.
You can make a single donation to Computer Friendly; please click below for more details. Don’t forget to tell us if you qualify for Gift Aid!
Leave a legacy
If you share Computer Friendly’s vision of helping the community to learn about computer technology, then please consider leaving a gift in your will. Please click here for more information.
Be a Supporter or Sponsor
Our funds come from grants and donations by organisations as much as from the course fees we charge, so without donations from organisations we would struggle to deliver our services at the very low costs we charge.
All our costs are for running courses and Drop-In Centres, including advertising and printing and postage. We have no paid staff at all, only volunteers who kindly give their time.
Our current supporters are shown above: the largest have their logo on our Home page with links to their websites.
So could yours, so please contact us to see how you could help :
