This is a modular course consisting of 2 weeks on the Mac Operating System<\/strong> followed by one week covering Photos on the Mac <\/strong>and one week on Pages.<\/strong>\u00a0 Students can opt for weeks 1 & 2, weeks 3 or 4, or all four sessions.<\/p>\n This module covers the essential aspects of the Mac Operating System<\/strong>. Students will learn to \ufb01nd their way around the many features o\ufb00ered by their Mac, including \ufb01le management, System Preferences, installing apps, iCloud, security, backup and much more.<\/p>\n If time allows, we also aim to cover other aspects \/ apps as determined by student requests.<\/p>\n Photos on the Mac<\/strong>: we explore the options the Mac o\ufb00ers for viewing, organising, editing, sharing and backing up your photos and videos.<\/p>\n This module covers the\u00a0 essentials of using Pages<\/strong>, Apple\u2019s word processing app.<\/span><\/p>\n Sessions are 2 hours with a half time break. If you have a MacBook, please bring it along. You are also welcome to bring an iMac if feasible – it\u2019s always better if you have your own computer.\u00a0 Otherwise we should be able to lend you a MacBook for the course – please state which option you prefer when booking.<\/p>\n Please note that all 3 modules of this course are NOT<\/strong> suitable for the iPad or iPhone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Module 1: (Weeks 1 & 2)<\/h2>\n
