Do you know how to stay safe online? Identifying phishing can be harder than you think. If you get it wrong you will be shown why.<\/li>\n<li>Record the number of correct answers you got.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Exercise 5 &#8211; How to report a scam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you spot a scam, it\u2019s not always clear who you should report it to: it depends on whether it\u2019s an email scam, telephone scam or another type of fraud. \u00a0Which? have compiled a number of helpful notes, read <strong>Report scams to warn others, <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.which.co.uk\/consumer-rights\/advice\/how-to-report-a-scam#stop-scam-mail\">https:\/\/www.which.co.uk\/consumer-rights\/advice\/how-to-report-a-scam#stop-scam-mail<\/a> to find:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report fraud to your bank or payment provider.<\/li>\n<li>Report the scam to Action Fraud and the police. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.actionfraud.police.uk\">https:\/\/www.actionfraud.police.uk<\/a> .<\/li>\n<li>Read each of the following sections and make a note of the most important points.<\/li>\n<li>Email scams<\/li>\n<li>Premium rate phone scams<\/li>\n<li>Scam adverts<\/li>\n<li>Report junk and scam email<\/li>\n<li>Scam companies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Exercise 6 \u2013 Check how Secure are your Passwords <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You do have lots of different passwords for different service providers, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.securepasswords.net\">securepasswords.net<\/a> into your browser address bar.<\/li>\n<li>Click on Test Password Strength<\/li>\n<li>Enter your password into the box. The strength of your password will be indicated in the Password Strength.<\/li>\n<li>If your password is Weak or Very Weak click on one of the links in the Site Links menu to get some other ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Alternatively try <strong>my1login<\/strong>.
