More Computer Friendly Workshops

Computer Friendly is running more of our two-hour interactive workshops on a series of topics to help users get more from their tablets and computers. These will be held at the Skew Bridge Pub, Harpenden and in Fleetville Community Centre, St Albans.

Hands-on workshops described on this page, are where you will be getting online either on your own tablet/computer or one of ours.

Making Music with Computers (and tablets and phones) (£20)

In the morning session 10am-12 we will have a look at the history of music technology and at the exciting new programs and apps currently available.  In the afternoon we’ll make some music! No previous experience, either electronic or musical is necessary. Bring some headphones and your own Macbook, laptop, phone, iPad or tablet if you wish or use one of ours.

Apple Mac Workshop (£10)





A hands-on workshop covering the most useful aspects of Mac OS, as determined by those attending.  If you have a MacBook, please bring it along, but iMac users are equally welcome to come and share a screen.
